We can’t figure out why it took so long for Peta to hop on the Justin Bieber train. They’re always putting Cloris Leachman in a cabbage dress or making us look at Pamela Anderson’s dried up cooter covered in a lettuce bikini. Why would that make us want to join your cause Peta? Give us some sex appeal, and we’ll consider. Luckily, the good animal-loving extremists have heard the desperately wailing cries of the masses and given us a man we can all truly look up to: Justin Bieber. At the tender age of 17, Justin’s taken over the world and is ready to tell us all where we can and cannot buy our pets from now on. Shelters only, mind you. Thankfully, they didn’t put the Beibz in any kind of salad-based couture, for which we couldn’t possibly be more grateful. Peta’s big into doing shocking things to get attention, and we don’t put anything past them. So we’re understandably relived. And lest you doubt his commitment, Bieber is no newbie to the animal-saving game. This is his second ad encouraging folks to adopt from shelters (see below). We’re really nervous about Peta bringing him into the fold. We can only imagine what kind of photo shoot they’ve got planned for his 18th birthday.
