Black Eyed Peas reveal Super Bowl halftime plans

If you were expecting a peepshow from Fergie during this year’s Super Bowl halftime show, think again.
In a Super Bowl press conference in Dallas yesterday, the hip-hop group revealed their plans for their halftime performance, the LA Times reports.
“It is a challenge because you want to give a little sex appeal but you don’t want to get into any trouble,”Fergie said at the conference. She promises that the group is being “very particular” about the costumes and their won’t be another wardrobe malfunction, referring to the infamous Janet Jackson nipple slip during the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show. Fergie is the first female musician to perform at the Super Bowl since Jackson’s wardrobe disaster.
According to the LA Times, Fergie also said the group is looking to get the party started with their performance, forming the halftime show around “sports anthem type songs.”
