Mehr Hassan (complete name Mehrun Nissa Hassan), is a Asian American actress, model and classical dancer. She is a daughter of a notable religious theologian Dr. Riffat Hassan. Her mother belongs to Pakistan, while her father Hassan is from India. Mehr is settled in Louisville, Kentucky. She received her Master Degree from University of Louisville.
Mehr started her career as a stage performer in United States, but latterly she was moved to Pakistan and join Samina Peerzada for her film Shararat. Shararat was released in 2003. After that Mehr was moved to India and work in several Tamil films. During that she complete a six month course of Film Acting from Kishore Namit Kapoor Institute for Film Acting Technique, in Mumbai.
Mehr is also work in some music-videos as a dancer and dance director.
